Meeting Reminder – updated schedule

Hello Innovative Course-Builders!

This email serves as a reminder that we have a workshop on Wednesday. From now on each workshop will be “captained” by two of our mentors. This week Amy Kelley and George Cazacu will be taking you through the process of developing good course goals. Amy has posted an easy pre-
assignment for you, so please check the blog (http://gcsusencerflc.wordpress.com) for that.

Kim Cossey and I will not be there on Wednesday because we will be at a conference in Puerto Rico – we will miss you!

The workshop schedule is as follows:

21 Sep 09 – Introduction/Identify problems & courses (Chappell 113)
23 Oct 09 – Write Course Goals (Chappell 113) – Amy & George
09 Nov 09 – Examine Possibilities (Chappell 102) – Julia & Caralyn
08 Feb 09 – Build Assessment Strategies (Chappell 113) – Karynne & Kim
15 Mar 09 – Critique First Draft of Course (Chappell 113) – Everyone
12 Apr 09 – Reflect, Socialize and present final course (Chappell > 113) – Everyone

I look forward to seeing your progress on the blog!

Julia
