Regional Science & Engineering Fair

You might want to consider being a judge. It is a great opportunity to interact with talented students in the local area.

Dear University Community:

The 34th annual Georgia College Regional Science & Engineering Fair will be held February 4-5, 2011.

All judging is held on Friday, February 4 at the Centennial Center.

We are soliciting help from as many faculty to assist with judging of projects. Can you also suggest other area scientists and engineers, to assist in judging projects? This is also a great service-learning opportunity for students and we also rely heavily on the help of your students. However, student judges must be available for at least 2 hours to review projects and then interview presenters. So faculty, could you please recruit your students who can stay for the morning to assist with judging? Judges training commences at 9:00 am; judging begins at 9:30 and usually ends before noon. We provide coffee and a light lunch.
