As you start winding down your semester and planning your holiday break, I’d like you to think for a few minutes about your summer plans …
The SENCER Summer Institute has been announced. This stimulating teaching conference will be held from July 21-25 at Butler University. Many of the ICBG mentors have attended past institutes. This is a great conference with sessions on course design, assessment, pedagogy and civic engagement.
We are hoping to put together a dynamic team of faculty/staff from diverse disciplines to send this summer. Please read through the information (link below) about the conference and decide if you’d like to go. We have funds from the dean and provost offices to cover travel expenses for a team of five, so the trip won’t dip into your faculty development funds.
If you want to go (or are thinking about it), please let us know.
