ICBGers, we have been given some funds from the provost to support the dissemination and/or implementation of your courses. We have $20,000 to spend, so I encourage you to send in your proposals. This will be a simple proposal process, just one to two pages including a budget, explaining how the funds will be used to implement or disseminate your course. We have set a maximum award of $3,000 and proposals will be evaluated by the following criteria.
Criteria for evaluating proposals
*promotes/reflects the GCSU mission
*shows impact on teaching and learning at GCSU
*demonstrates gains in higher-order teaching or learning
Things you might want to fund
*Travel to conferences
*Participation in conferences
*Workshop / Course Attendance
*Student travel to conferences
*Anything else that would facilitate your course implementation
We will begin reviewing applications on Feb 25th and will continue to review applications on a revolving basis until the funds are spent.
