CETL is Open for Business!

If you are interested in helping plan the future of faculty development at Georgia College, I encourage you to join the CETL Steering Committee.

TO GEORGIA COLLEGE FACULTY

CETL is seeking new members to serve on its Steering Committee. This committee will meet no more than once a month to see how CETL can best respond to the teaching and learning needs of Georgia College’s teaching community in ways that are consistent with CETL’s mission (see below) and GC’s institutional priorities.

We are especially keen to hear from faculty in the College of Arts & Science, Nursing, and Economics—areas currently underrepresented on the committee. Please know though that we welcome expressions of interest from all over campus.

If so moved, please send me a short statement describing your interest in serving on this committee at steve.elliott-gower by Oct 3.

Many thanks,

Steve

CETL MISSION STATEMENT (adopted spring 2011): The Georgia College Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning provides faculty and staff professional development opportunities and experiences that enhance teaching and learning for the benefit of students.
