Follow-up on the SMART Mapping Workshop.

[Feel free to share this announcement with your colleagues….]

The feedback from the curriculum mapping workshop on October 28th clearly indicated the need for more time and help mapping program goals and course outcomes to college and university goals. We can’t make more time but we can help guide your work. Since curriculum mapping is most productive when done within a program or department, we will send a facilitator to your assessment or department meeting to help you achieve the next steps in your curriculum mapping.

What can you expect?
After an initial consultation (in person or on the phone), the facilitator will design a workshop that will be tailored to your group’s need and expertise. The facilitator will collect feedback and provide you with a report of “lessons learned” and “next steps” relevant to your curriculum mapping process.

Who would facilitate?
The Innovative Course-building Group mentors (listed below) will act as facilitators. You can choose the facilitator(s) you’d most like to work with or we can assign one based on availability.

Karynne Kleine, Middle Grades Education
Caralyn Zehnder, Environmental Sciences
Laurie Huffman, Mathematics
Julia Metzker, Chemistry
Kelly Manning, Kinesiology
Kimberly Cossey, Chemistry
Liz Speelman, Outdoor Education
Susan Steele, Nursing
