Poster Jam 2012

What: An art exhibition of social justice posters for action created by art and sociology students. Media and techniques represented include: silkscreen, digital print, painting, drawing and mixed media.

When: Tuesday March 6th, 2012 @ 6:30

Where: Valerie Aranda’s Studio

(ADDRESS: 1811 North Columbia Street, Milledgeville, next to the China Buffet)

Who: All are invited- Open to the public

Students from Valerie Aranda and Sandra Godwin’s course Art and Social Justice created posters showing the relationship of art and activism. These posters address social issues such as race discrimination, poverty, and adult illiteracy and will be on exhibit at the 1811 studio on North Columbia, in Milledgeville from 6:30-8:00pm. There will be music and snacks…all are invited.
