Dalton State College Teaching and Learning Conference: Call for Proposals DEADLINE: Friday, February 15

Proposals are rolling in for Dalton State College’s Teaching and Learning Conference. You’ve still got until this Friday, February 15 to submit your proposal. There are several different formats for presentations, so please don’t pass up this great opportunity. Details on proposal format and submission guidelines can be found in the latest Dalton State CAE Newsletter.

We’ll have more details about the conference and registration information out to you shortly, but in the meantime here are the basics:

Theme: Innovation in the Classroom: Reaching Today’s Students

Keynote Address: "Teach Students HOW to Learn: Metacognition is the Key!" Dr. Saundra McGuire, Louisiana State University

Date: Friday, March 15, 2013

The Dalton State College Teaching and Learning Conference is an annual event located in the beautiful Northwest Georgia mountains. Dalton is approximately 88 miles north of Atlanta and 25 miles south of Chattanooga. This prime location right alongside I-75 makes it an easily accessible event for many of the colleges and universities in the tri-state area.

· We invite you to submit proposals for a variety of different presentation formats.
