LEAD 2010: Principles of Leadership

Students will examine a variety of leadership principles, practices, theories, models, styles, concepts, topics, and issues. Students will explore the nature of leadership and develop leadership skills through discussions, exercises, activities, and assignments.

Desired Learning Outcomes | As participants in this course, students will:
1.Articulate personal values, vision, and goals
2.Assess personal skills and abilities and acknowledge personal strengths and challenges
3.Demonstrate understanding and application of a variety of leadership models and practices
4.Effectively communicate with others, both orally and in writing
5.Effectively collaborate with others toward the achievement of a shared goal
